The Edge Chronicles - Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell

These books are the BEST. I picked up the first book, Beyond the Deepwoods, and I was completely lost in the world of The Edge. I'm sure you've heard this before, but no book can match how amazing these chronicles are. the main characters - Twig, Quint and Rook - have amazing adventures which involve sky ships, weird creatures and things that other writers couldn't imagine.
